


THE CLIENT
Sereth Logistics (Pty) Ltd is a logistics company that manages and oversees the operation and delivery of goods to locations both in and outside of South Africa.

Sereth Logistics (Pty) Ltd was created by the Board of directors of Imperial and from Colbro Transport. Their vision was to develop a marketing company for all the Colbro trucks in South Africa. Sereth Logistics (Pty) Ltd was created in the year 2010. Currently, the board of directors consist of, Director Fergus Macleod (Finance Consultant), Director Thinus Erasmus and Director Dumisani Sibeko (Executive).
Sereth Logistics (Pty) Ltd is divided into five main facets, finance which is overlooked by a financial manager, who is also a director, procurement, workshops and Sereth fleet which is overlooked by a general manager and operations which is overlooked by an operations and marketing manager.

Sereth Logistics (Pty) Ltd is a logistics company that manages and oversees the operation and delivery of goods to locations both in and outside of South Africa. This means that the organisations main order of operations is within the transportation and trucking industry, it is a continuous cycle of loading, transporting, delivering and off-loading of goods. Sereth Logistics (Pty) Ltd acts as the “middleman” for a customer, meaning that a customer will hire Sereth Logistics to transport their specific goods to its destination. These goods are numerous objects, ranging from maize to raw tobacco – however they are not specifically limited to any particular type of goods. Sereth Logistics (Pty) Ltd focuses on transportation to and from Zimbabwe and within South Africa.



THE SYSTEM
PsyNamix was approached by Sereth Logistics Pty LTD to design a system that would incorporate all functionality within the trucking business and environment, that would help them manage and complete their day to day tasks while keeping abreast of all shipments and truck whereabouts. Sereth Logistics Pty LTD explained the various issues that were faced and often experienced. Their main system in place was an excel spreadsheet that would be updated everyday by Mr Henry Hattingh - Sereth's Operations and Marketing Manager.
TNT - Trucking and Tracking is a system that focuses on all aspects of the trucking Industry. This includes the loading, offloading and travelling of a Client's Shipment. This system is designed by PsyNamix taking into consideration all of the client's needs and more. The system consists of 11 aspects where the user, can include and manage the needed data and task completion. These 11 aspects include, administration functionality, employee and client management, shipment and truck maintenance and bookings. The system also allows for numerous business reports and statistics to be generated while multiple users can access the system, ranging from employee's, drivers as well as client's.

On request of Sereth, a colourful notification schema is accessible and implemented. The system should be able to manage the trucks and horses which the business owns as well as tracking of the shipment when in transit. TNT integrates with Mix Telematics using Mix Integrate to generate location data which can be viewed.
